The Geelong Gaol is the oldest, continuously operating gaol in Victoria. It closed in 1991 after 138 years service.
It stands as a stark reminder of the conditions that prisoners endured over its history. The gaol features artefacts from penal history across Australia, along with permanent and temporary exhibitions.
Available during opening hours 12-5pm, 7 days a week.
