The Q Train Experience

Guests on a journey through the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula; a 3-hour escape from reality where they’ll savour a 5-course degustation showcasing the best food and wine from our region while chugging along in style. It's a celebration of local produce paired with the romance of rail travel.

The Q Train is a return journey along the historic Bellarine Railway from Drysdale to Queenscliff. Guests are taken past farmland, the Australian bush, and the Ramsar-listed wetlands at Swan Bay. The Q Train operates on Wadawurrung Country and acknowledges the Wadawurrung people and the traditional owners and caretakers of the land and waterways of the Bellarine Peninsula.

During the journey on our lovingly restored carriages, guests will enjoy delicious produce from Geelong, Bellarine, and the Otways. The beverage list features only locally-owned beer, wine, cider, gin, and vodka.

There are two dining options on board The Q Train, Q Class and First Class.

Q Class Inclusions: welcome drink on arrival, tables for 2, 4 or 6 in an open dining carriage, seasonal degustation menu, option to purchase drinks from an extensive local list.

First Class Inclusions: welcome drink on arrival, private dining compartments for couples or small groups of 4-10, seasonal degustation menu, The Q Train signature drink pairing experience, tea and coffee, butler service.
